Shang Ziqian is a die-hard fan of Dugu Hong, the protagonist of the novel Aotian. One day, he transmigrates into the story as an ordinary passerby. All he wants is to get close to his idol and witness his overbearing charisma.
But fate plays a cruel joke on him. After struggling through countless trials, he finally gets the chance to join the protagonist's sect. During the entrance exam, the disciples must climb a mountain. Just one step from the top, the mountain he is climbing collapses, and he plunges downward. Then he hears a familiar line.
"You bullied me mercilessly back then. Now I'll settle every last score!"
It's his favorite scene from his days as a reader: the protagonist's domineering moment when he splits a mountain with one slash to avenge an old grudge.
But now he's the one who has transmigrated, a miserable transmigrator who was one step away from joining a major sect. Remembering all the hardships he endured for the protagonist, then looking at himself plummeting straight down, Shang Ziqian loses it.
I loved you so much, and you couldn't even spare me a glance. You go and get me killed the moment I show up?
I don't love you anymore!
If I could start over, I'd be your hater!
I'll steal the protagonist's fortune, take his treasures, poach his underlings, and snatch his girls only to let them go, so he can't take the domineering route and has to depend on me instead.
Then he hears an ethereal voice.
"As you wish. Anti-Long Aotian System at your service."
Shang Ziqian grins. He can practically see the wonderful scene of the protagonist crying and begging him later.
Later, he really does destroy the protagonist's harem.
He never expects Dugu Hong to be even happier than he is. "Thank you so much. With so many girls, I had no idea how to turn them down."
???
Aren't you the protagonist of a domineering harem power fantasy?
Dugu Hong: "No, I'm the protagonist of a pure-love fanfic. Boss, I'm a natural-born beauty and a good fighter. Can I depend on you?"
Seeing the protagonist's reddened eyes, Shang Ziqian is stunned. Damn, he's so cute. I want to...
