Married for three years, with her husband abroad for all three, Meng Hexia, a forensic doctor with the Municipal Public Security Bureau, suffers a head injury after a suspect takes revenge on her. She develops anterograde amnesia and can only retain memories for one day.

One day, she wakes up with a strange soreness in her body and realizes that something happened last night that should not have. Troubled, she confides in her best friend: "I cheated. I don't know who it was with."

Her best friend: "Sugoi."

Just then, her husband, who's far away in Africa, walks out of the bathroom wearing a towel, his handsome face perfectly impassive. "Which track did you stray onto? Tell me all about it."

Meng Hexia: "..."
