My Secret Identity Was Exposed After I Played the Poor Little Thing

You're a sickly, blind little weakling, and you and your childhood friend rely on each other at the orphanage.

Later, your aloof, poor childhood friend becomes a big shot. Everyone praises his inspiring story, but only you know he's a player in an infinite-flow world.

Every night, your childhood friend travels through infinite worlds, returning to reality covered in wounds before tucking your fallen blanket back over you.

Your only purpose is to be sacrificed at the moment the real world is about to be swallowed by the infinite world, becoming a tool that gives your childhood friend the resolve to protect reality.

By your calculations, the time is almost here.

One night, space goes into turmoil, and rifts appear all over the world. You're preparing to die when you watch, wide-eyed, as your childhood friend manually seals a spatial rift.

Seals. It. Shut.

Your childhood friend calmly picks you up. "Need to use the bathroom? I'll carry you."

You: ...

You really don't have to... Wait, man, how did you seal the rift?

-

The second time, you're waiting for your childhood friend to buy movie tickets.

The ground shakes beneath your feet. A black, twisted monster pokes its head out of a dark rift...

Your childhood friend stomps the monster back inside, and the rift closes up again.

He stuffs popcorn into your arms, takes your hand, and says calmly, "Come on, the movie's starting."

You: ?!!

Is this really the time to watch a movie?!

You thought these were just accidents, but your childhood friend keeps manually sealing the rifts, as easily as closing his own front door.

Things get complicated, because you also have a secret identity.

-

You're a veteran player in the infinite world, the power behind the guild, and ranked TOP 1 in strength.

You've been invincible for years, but recently a new player has been wreaking havoc and threatening to steal your notoriety. Forced to keep up, you return to the scene.

In the infinite world, you go all out against the youngsters and cut a bloody swath through your enemies.

Back in the real world, you're a timid, blind little weakling.

Your childhood friend has just come out of an instance and is tiptoeing to the bathroom to wash off the smell of blood.

You lie in bed pretending to sleep and sigh: My poor kid got beaten up again.

-

Spatial rifts appear more and more often, and the boundary between the infinite world and reality grows increasingly blurred. You have to die as soon as possible.

The moment you leap into a spatial rift, you see the look of disbelief on your childhood friend's face.

At the same time, an incredibly deranged player appears in the infinite world.

-

The rifts disappear, your mission is complete, and you go back to your lazy couch-potato life.

Until one day, someone breaks into your home.

Your childhood friend is tall and slender, his face pale and gloomy. When he sees you, his expression changes countless times before he slowly walks toward you.

Your vision instantly goes dark. You're pulled back into the real world, once again a timid little blind weakling who needs to be cared for.

Your childhood friend looks after you as usual, as if nothing ever happened. But his constant company and ever-present gaze make one thing clearer to you than anything else.

This time, you won't get away.
