Note: Unless something unexpected happens, this will be a political intrigue novel.

An Lanzhao is a professional background character whose job is to keep the world's plotline running as it should. His current assignment is in a world with a protagonist group.
An Lanzhao's job is to stand by in this world, act whenever a task comes in, and do his best as a background character to keep the plotline on the right track.
He took the job in a world with a protagonist group for ten times the pay.
Work System 9488: Zhaozhaozhao, in the story, the prince and the chancellor host a banquet at the busiest restaurant in the capital, where a waiter catches them in the act... But that restaurant is about to go out of business!
An Lanzhao: Got it!
He used his connections to get into the restaurant two months early. As a newcomer, all he could do was work in the kitchen as an unpaid helper... A month later, the restaurant still went out of business.
He looked helplessly at the little noodle shop beside the failed restaurant... Maybe he could give that a try?
Later, when the plot reached that point and the prompt sounded, he swiftly changed into a waiter's uniform while his employees stared in shock, picked up the complimentary fruit platter, and pushed open the private room door.
He looked at the two familiar faces at the head of the table and asked 9488: Who did you say these two are?
A waiter running food, an old man making vegetarian meals at a temple, a farmer resting by the fields and giving directions...
An Lanzhao remained calm: There are a few more of them, but these are all normal background-character tasks.
A masked underling ordering the disposal of an assassin whose mission failed, the receptionist at a famous intelligence agency, a guard showing the way through the imperial palace...
An Lanzhao stared at his Work System in disbelief: How am I supposed to do these tasks?!
Then a new task appeared: A hired hand raising cranes for the Sword Sect.
An Lanzhao went berserk: Isn't this a political intrigue novel? Why is there a cultivation sect now?!
After being run ragged, An Lanzhao finally understood: ten times the pay might mean a hundred times the trouble!!
Hey, protagonist group, stay away from me! I'm just a background character!
Theme: Work hard!
