[Detective Conan] Another Day as a Victim

There is a strange little Western-style house in Beika Town. It is silent during the day, but brightly lit at night. No one has ever seen the owner, nor has anyone ever seen people coming or going...

Uemaki Sumiko, the owner of the little house, is unemployed by day and an overworked wage earner by night. Ever since an extraordinary elementary school student appeared in Beika Town, working overtime has become the norm...

The story in a nutshell: The heroine switches identities with victims who are about to die, leaving clues to identify the murderer in the little time they have left.

The elementary-school Grim Reaper, who had been thinking about it all night, sat up again. I still think the clues in this case appeared far too conveniently...

P.S. I just couldn't resist writing a murder mystery, so this is a standalone detective story. There's little romance; the people the heroine spends the most time with are the ones who died.

Theme: Mutual benefit and shared success.
