Renovation Scam Case

Luo Jiaci is a female detective.

She thought she was simply helping a distant relative track down a scammer who had cheated them during a home renovation.

Then things started getting interesting.

P.S.

Aside from the murder cases and the detective's investigative work,

many of the renovation scam details are drawn from my own real experiences (with a few adjustments, of course).

I wrote this to warn all the lovely people who are renovating now or plan to renovate in the future:

There are countless renovation scams,

countless pitfalls in the renovation process,

and countless scammers.

I hope everyone will keep their eyes open

and happily settle into their dream home.

P.P.S.

Suspense and detective fiction have always been genres I've wanted to try,

and Luo Jiaci was a name I'd picked out long ago for a female detective.

At the time, I imagined her as a middle-aged detective in the Republican era.

But after a scam happened to me in real life,

Luo Jiaci arrived early,

and in a much younger form.

I hope you enjoy the story.

Please forgive me if my unstable emotions led me to write any scenes too intensely. Thank you.
