The first year Wen Xiangzhu brought his band to perform at a bar, the band he'd worked so hard to put together was completely disbanded.
It was all thanks to that lunatic bar owner who had everything under his thumb!

On the last night at the bar, Wen Xiangzhu broke up with Si Bohan.
"How many tens of thousands did that guitar you bought me cost? I'll pay you back in installments, all at once. And there's the termination agreement... From now on, let's never see each other again."
Si Bohan took a sip of red wine and glanced at him coolly. "Trying to negotiate with me? Do you think you're worthy?"
Wen Xiangzhu had nothing at the time. He said nothing, gritted his teeth, and left.
By chance, Wen Xiangzhu learned that Si Bohan had connections to a music variety show. He decided to take a chance and went to find him.
"Mr. Si... Do you happen to have any spots left on that show?"
The man looked at him and smiled. "Changed your mind? Want to negotiate with me again?"
Wen Xiangzhu smiled, then sang and played a love song he'd written for Si Bohan when he was a lovesick fool during their first romance. He successfully captured the heart of the rich, gullible CEO all over again.
Wen Xiangzhu got his wish, climbing onto the stage of his dreams on Si Bohan's shoulders. His outstanding performance made him famous across the country.
People only realize what they've lost when it's too late.
By then, tickets to Wen Xiangzhu's concerts were impossible to get. Si Bohan seemed to have rediscovered his desire to conquer him, and their old flame reignited as he began actively pursuing Wen Xiangzhu.
A huge bouquet of roses could always be seen outside the dressing room, along with mountains of sweet nothings.
"I'll buy you whatever guitar you want, no matter how expensive. I can even buy you a villa and make it your private music room. Just say yes and be with me..."
Wen Xiangzhu stopped strumming and gestured for his band to stop. Then he slowly shifted his gaze to the man who had once let him down and said only one thing:
"Trying to negotiate with me? Do you think you're worthy?"
It was satisfying to torment his wife for a while, and even more satisfying to keep doing it. But then he couldn't win him back, and ended up getting a taste of his own medicine.
Later on, Wen Xiangzhu had the scumbag wrapped around his little finger and found success in both his career and love life.
Wen Xiangzhu: Think you can keep me like a caged bird? No way! Whoever tries to imprison me, I'll peck them to death!
