[The King's Avatar] Petals Bursting with Dew

The young man rested his legs on the low table in front of him and leaned back against the leather chair, leisurely tapping at his phone. A pair of hands straightened his neck. The barbershop lights were bright, making the hands look even fairer. They wrapped a white cloth around his neck, then deftly took up a pair of small silver scissors and began cutting his hair.

The young man watched those distinctively knuckled hands. Their owner, expressionless, tilted the chair so the young man faced him, then concentrated on trimming his bangs.

Hair fell onto the young man's clothes. The person standing behind him closed the scissors and casually blew the stray hairs off him with a hair dryer. The young woman at the front desk called out to a customer.

"Mo Fan, there's someone here who needs a shampoo."

Mo Fan stuck the scissors into a cloth pouch, clapped his hands, briskly pulled the white cloth off the young man's neck, and turned to duck into the back room.
