[An outwardly innocent and lively disciple who is secretly dark and ruthless as the top x an outwardly aloof but inwardly clumsy and guileless beauty of a master as the bottom]
Ji Yanqing, a newly appointed elder of the Xuanshuang Sect, goes on a trip and returns with a naturally born demonic seed. Everyone in the sect wants to kill the child before he becomes a threat, but Ji Yanqing stops them all.
Faced with the furious sect leader, Ji Yanqing says earnestly, "No one is destined to follow the demonic path."
Qi Muyang: "Well, that's awkward. I am."
His disciple grows up day by day, becoming innocent and adorable, clever and capable, and astonishingly fast at cultivation. He also takes care of every chore on the peak, much to Ji Yanqing's delight. Ji Yanqing is happy to let him handle everything and becomes a hands-off master.
But one day, Ji Yanqing emerges from seclusion after devoting himself to cultivation, only to find that the cultivation world has changed. Countless powerful cultivators have died at the hands of demonic cultivators, and all the evidence points to his only disciple, Qi Muyang.
Seeing his disciple looking panicked and helpless, unconsciously turning to him for help, Ji Yanqing's heart softens. He draws his life-bound sword, shields his disciple beneath his wing, and tells the sect leader with unwavering conviction:
"I trust him."
And then, while he keeps trusting him, the Demonic Venerable proposes to him in front of everyone.
The Demonic Heavenly Venerable looks exactly like his disciple, but his gaze is as deep as an abyss. "Venerable Yanqing, if you agree to form a bond with me, I'll spare all of you righteous cultivators."
"That's a fair deal, isn't it?"
Looking at the sinister Qi Muyang before him, Ji Yanqing is bewildered. Where is his obedient, adorable disciple?
Qi Muyang was surrounded and killed by righteous cultivators, dying on Mount Yuncang. A hundred years later, he opens his eyes again, only to discover that he's become a child and has been taken in as a direct disciple by a righteous cultivator.
Watching someone only a few hundred years old put on airs in front of him, Qi Muyang finds himself intrigued for once and decides to play along.
After all, his little master is quite handsome, and very innocent.
Like fresh-fallen snow, he makes Qi Muyang want to cradle him and keep him untouched by the world's filth, yet he can't help wanting to leave a mark on him that belongs to no one but himself.
*They're only apparently an older top and younger bottom. The top is actually older than the bottom.
