Who Says You Have to Play Tennis in the Prince of Tennis World?

So this is tennis? Mu Yeyi stared blankly at the racket in his hand as the tennis ball glowed, then smashed through a wall with a thunderous crash.

What the heck?! How could tennis possibly be like this!!! (He tosses the racket aside, regrets wasting the money, then secretly picks it back up.)

Mu Yeyi was helplessly furious. Back when he played tennis at Rikkaidai, he had never seen anyone use a black hole, or even make a tennis ball glow! And how on earth did that guy, whose ability was just like Osamu Dazai's in Bungo Stray Dogs, manage to erase everything from existence?!

This is an unscientific world. Only data can give me a little comfort...

Mu Yeyi held his phone and carefully wiped it clean and looked after it. After all, the notes app held information he'd risked his life to find out!

Mu Yeyi's notes:

1. Seigaku's Ryoma Echizen has the protagonist's aura and is impossible to defeat! He doesn't grow tall because he loves drinking Ponta (?).

2. Hyotei's Yuushi Oshitari looks like a playboy, but he's actually so pure-hearted it hurts. Don't judge a book by its cover!

3. Shitenhoji's Kuranosuke Shiraishi isn't good at handling people who hit on him, even guys. Maybe it's because his face is just too popular?

4. Rikkaidai's Seiichi Yukimura...

Mu Yeyi sensed a murderous aura behind him, and a sudden sense of foreboding washed over him. He turned around and thought, Holy crap, the captain!

Seiichi Yukimura: You seem to have a lot of free time lately, Mu Yeyi. ^_^

Reader advisory:

These are my own character interpretations, with lots of original details. This is my first time writing a long story, so feel free to leave if it's not your thing.

The story is mainly told from Rikkaidai's perspective. The protagonist is a cute guy with black naturally curly hair and icy blue eyes! He's only a tiny (huge) bit annoying, really!

Data-driven protagonists are pretty rare, so I've taken the liberty of changing some things from the original. Let's call them my own additions!

Mu Yeyi is something of a strategist, and will gradually mature under Renji Yanagi's guidance.

The captain of Rikkaidai's tennis club is Akaya Kirihara, and the vice-captain and strategist is Mu Yeyi.

No pairing. If I end up writing one, I'll let you know (but there's probably no pairing).
