I'm a Little Human-Machine II

[A short story, about 30,000 words. Updates whenever I feel like it.]

Xie Tingmian knows that he is one of only two named NPCs in this world. The other is his good friend, Lin Ci.

After Lin Ci leaves, Xie Tingmian is the only one left here.

Xie Tingmian feels lonely, until one day a player suddenly drops down right in front of him.

One person and one NPC stare into each other's eyes.

Player: How embarrassing. They saw me.

Xie Tingmian: This player is amazing.
