The Ninth Princess Consort's Spendthrift Days (Qing Dynasty Transmigration)

A new story coming soon. Blurb:

Shan Mingzhi transmigrates into the body of Dong'e, the primary consort of the ninth imperial prince, Yinzhen. She knows that Yinzhen's fate will be grim: he'll be stripped of his yellow sash, removed from the imperial clan, placed under house arrest, and dead by the age of forty-three. As his consort, she knows her own life won't be any better. So she decides to enjoy herself while she can. She won't suck up to her husband, Yinzhen. She'll buy whatever she wants, and if she runs out of money, she'll ask him for more. After all, he's the one who'll ruin the rest of her life.

A little scene

"Ninth Brother, why are you working so hard? You have enough money to spend. Why do you still want to open more shops and make money?" Fourth Prince Yinzhen asked in confusion.

"Fourth Brother, you don't understand. I have a spendthrift consort. If I don't give her money, she won't be nice to me." Yinzhen looked up from the account book.

"You're a grown man. How can a woman have you wrapped around her finger?"

"Fourth Brother, you don't understand. My consort isn't an ordinary woman. And when I give her money, she gives me something in return."

"What does she give you?"

"She calls me 'husband.'"

Yinzhen stared at his ninth brother in disbelief. Was he really exhausting himself like this just for her to call him husband?

Yinzhen could only think that his fourth brother didn't understand. His consort didn't usually call him husband. Her sweet, tender voice saying it was precious, especially at night.

Theme: Be strong and work hard. Don't give up when faced with setbacks; meet challenges head-on.
