Everyday Parenting with My Ex-Husband

Gu Xing and Wen Chongwen's marriage was entirely arranged by their parents. They met only twice before the wedding, making theirs a classic case of a blind, loveless marriage.

One was a proud young lady who demanded a hug every day; the other was a career-minded man who never comforted anyone.

They couldn't stand each other after getting married, and divorced before they'd even made it six months.

On the night of the divorce, Gu Xing went out with her friends and partied all night to celebrate. But the next day, the doctor told her she was pregnant.

Gu Xing: "..."

After talking it over, they decided to raise the child together. Since they'd already divorced, getting remarried seemed awkward, so they left things as they were.

During her pregnancy, the already pampered Gu Xing became even more demanding, calling him from time to time.

"Honey, I want grapes."

"Miss Gu, we're divorced," her ex-husband replied over the phone, his voice icy, though there seemed to be a hint of helplessness in it.

"I want grapes!" She started being unreasonable.

His assistant was astonished to hear his usually stern, impartial boss switch to a coaxing tone. "I have a meeting this afternoon. I'll bring them over tonight, all right?"
