Whatever, the Dog Will Handle It

In 2175, Xu Ling accidentally discovered that she was a psychic controller. While worrying that she might be used as a test subject, she suddenly received a phone call. The caller told her that her mother, who had set herself on fire, had not died, and threatened her with her mother's life, ordering her to infiltrate the Alliance agency and investigate a "Sky Gate" above the stratosphere...

A future-set action story, with romance and career as dual storylines.

A calm but warm-hearted heroine X a straightforward, adorable, white-haired catlike boy

Xu Ling, a woman from the old era, thought she had lost that boy forever. She never expected him to enter her life once again, years later.

He faced Xu Ling, his chin slightly raised. Without his goggles, he might have been looking down at her with his face tilted up. If he was looking at her, that is.

Xu Ling was the kind of girl who didn't talk much. When people spoke to her first, she would politely reply with a sentence or two. She wouldn't stare at people of her own accord, but she wouldn't look away when they looked at her, either.

Just like now. She could feel him looking at her, and she wouldn't turn away. She met his gaze, the faintest smile tugging at her lips.

So you're looking at me? Then I'll look back.

Besides, he was pretty good-looking.

A lovely curve to his neck, a clean-cut jawline. She wondered if his eyes would look nice without the goggles.

The boy met her smiling gaze for a while, then inexplicably smiled too and turned his face slightly aside.
