"I was once an ancient mountain god, but I was imprisoned here by evil men. Send me 100 dried fish and I'll take you along to enjoy the good life."
In the fifth year of the apocalypse, Xun Fang had become separated from her teammates when she suddenly appeared in a strange cave. The television in front of her glowed with an eerie light.
The world was a global wasteland. Nothing could grow in the soil on the surface, yet Xun Fang had somehow acquired a lush, thriving spirit mountain.
The mountain god living inside the television gave her fertile land, rare green plants, and swarms of mutated monsters called Lost Seeds from every direction!
"Please clear out the Lost Seeds and develop the spirit mountain."
Grow crops, or die.
From the start, Xun Fang could only live in a cold cave at the foot of the mountain. So she cleared the land and planted vegetables, caught fish in mountain springs, and tended an orchard...
The Lost Seeds attacked! The mature vegetables turned into mighty warriors. Sunflower snipers opened fire with a roar, chili peppers struck without hesitation, and potato mines easily blew the Lost Seeds away.
Spirit Mountain Defense mission complete! Reward: a rushing river to guard the mountain!
Xun Fang's shabby cave at the foot of the mountain was successfully upgraded into a woodland cabin halfway up the slope. She was full of energy, hoping to see the view from the summit one day.
Just as she was happily playing with cats and dogs, the silent mountain god suddenly reminded her:
"Don't eat everything without replenishing your supplies. Go out and stock up."
So, between tending her crops, Xun Fang began venturing out to look for teammates.
The Deep-Sea Hotel, the Clown Circus, the Cloudtop Shelter... Xun Fang brought her companions back from the apocalyptic world one by one, and then they farmed together!
A mysterious new faction gradually arose in the apocalyptic world. They called themselves the Cult of Farming, and told everyone that farming could save the world.
What a bunch of lunatics. At first, most people dismissed them.
But later, the woman carrying a hoe became the only god in their hearts!
