A rebellious, career-driven witch × a love-struck immortal who overthinks everything
I.
Guifeng Mountain had two rules: First, no leaving the mountain. Second, Mo Fan.
The second rule was aimed squarely at Mo Fan, because she would go down the mountain to bully people and had made a habit of grabbing whatever she wanted.
During her house arrest, Mo Fan turned Guifeng Mountain upside down. When her master and the others finally took her out of the mountain, she was secretly thrilled.
She let loose, causing trouble and making a mess with all her might. Her inner monologue: Since I can't escape, I'll make you kick me out instead.
But by chance, she ran into the enemy from her past life. Mo Fan couldn't let the matter go, and somehow even… got credit for it.
Watching the sect leader and elders look at her with approval, she was so stunned she couldn't speak. Standing among the crowd, she held her head high: “I want to become a demonic cultivator!”
Before those old fossils could even be surprised, a thick book of Buddhist teachings came crashing down on her head.
They slowly began droning at her about doing good… reforming herself… the Perfection of Wisdom…
Mo Fan: Stop!
I'll be a hero, okay? A hero!
On her path to becoming a hero, she ran out of money and became a bandit. Then she suddenly ran into the very master she liked least.
“Didn't you want to be a hero?”
“I do, but heroes get hungry too.”
