Back in middle school, everyone in my class was reading Aofeng. The bookstore stocked a ton of copies, and I stayed up all night devouring them. I even followed the trend and tried writing my own.
While cleaning up my C drive, I found this piece. It was twenty thousand words long!
I wrote that in middle school. Now, writing twenty thousand words feels like being bled dry.
Reading it again, the writing is so cringey, and the plot is just as cringey. I've practically excavated an entire Magic Fairy Castle, thanks!
I'm putting it up here as an archive, to inflict it on some unsuspecting soul.
Below is the blurb from back then. I said I wouldn't change a single word, but I couldn't help editing it a little. Aaaah, it's so embarrassing.
Yan Moran, the top scientist in the galaxy and the last inheritor of ancient martial arts on Blue Star, transmigrates into the body of the timid, spineless, useless second daughter of the Cui family.
No spiritual power, only brute strength? Watch her use martial arts in every way imaginable, target her opponents' weak spots, and make a name for herself with her pressure-point techniques.
Opponent: You're cheating!
She innocently replies: Maybe I'm just too strong.
No talent, unable to cultivate? Watch her wield a flask in one hand and reagents in the other, purify spiritual energy, and practice cultivation scientifically, leaving everyone stunned. You can do that?
No romance, and a terrible personality? Her devoted admirers shout: Exactly! This woman is so awful. Don't go near her, let me bear the brunt of her nastiness alone!
She scoffs disdainfully: Love will only slow down my sword!
"Then I want to become your sword." The man, usually reserved and distant with others, gazes at her with tender affection.
Theme: Use an old-fashioned writing style to annihilate everyone who lays eyes on this.
Dreaming back to the era of good-for-nothing n-miss.
It's really embarrassing hahahahahaha
