A man named Ji Wu decided to die.

But ever since the day the gods descended, he had run alone across a desolate earth, not knowing where to go. His body was made from the final remains of a dead god, and he did not know what made life precious. But she knew.

She was the yellow-robed herald of death, the fear of the living and the salvation of the dead.

Ji Wu decided to offer her his eyeballs, so she could see in his place and continue the search.

He wanted her to take control of everything about him.

Tong Bei's End-of-the-World Survival Tips: How to Cook Eyeballs

1. Eyeballs are an ingredient that depends heavily on freshness. Eat them before they rot, or the maggots will rudely get there first.

2. If you lose yourself while eating an eyeball, don't panic. The eyeball's owner, whose last wish you hope to fulfill, will lead you out of the maze of memories.

3. One eyeball with five sugar cubes is just the right amount of sweetness :)

4. Last but not least! Human eyeballs are the clear first choice. Animal eyeballs or Ji Wu's will throw your sense of self into chaos, so try them with caution!
