After Rejecting the Emperor's Marriage Proposal, I Handed the Time-Space Gate Over to the State

Su Qingyun transmigrated to ancient times three years ago. After going to great lengths, she opened several shops and made them thrive.

Then the "poor scholar's son born to a concubine" she'd once saved suddenly became the current emperor. He wanted to take her as his consort and told her:

"Yun'er, once you enter the palace with me, you won't have to work so hard managing these shops anymore.

"Don't worry. I'll find trustworthy people to run them for you, and make sure all your hard work doesn't go to waste.

"Besides, you're a woman. Being out in public all day could damage your reputation. But I don't mind. Heaven and Earth can bear witness to my sincere feelings for you."

Su Qingyun stared at him in utter shock. He was openly snatching her shops, putting her down and manipulating her, then using his so-called sincere feelings as an excuse to take advantage of her. He was shameless as hell!

She composed music and told stories to expose the emperor's shameless scheme to take over her business. When he flew into a rage and moved to punish her, she took her friend, who was being forced into marriage, by the hand and returned to the modern world through a time-space portal.

After returning, Su Qingyun handed the time-space portal over to the government.

Modern supplies, technology, ideas, and more flowed into the ancient nation of Dasheng, helping it overcome natural and man-made disasters.

The oppressed people of Dasheng wept with joy. They had never known that simply being able to live as a person could be so wonderful.

Later, Dasheng had bright electric lights, cars that drove by themselves, and skyscrapers soaring into the clouds...

The people of Dasheng said, "Are we living in a fairyland?"

Modern internet users said, "Wonderful! Mom won't have to worry about me finding a job anymore. There are so many job opportunities over in Dasheng!"
