Li Jianchi is one of the countless writers applying for a contract with Jinjiang Literature City.
After one rejection after another, she writes all kinds of stories in hopes of getting accepted.
Some are ridiculous, silly stories that chase hot topics; some are clever ideas she racked her brains to come up with; and some are ordinary, everyday tales...
Li Jianchi's road to getting a contract is long. Along the way, she's felt disappointed and dejected, doubted herself, and even wanted to give up.
But after worrying about it, she still chooses to persevere, because she wants to tell the stories in her head.
The stories are new, but the lessons come from past experience.

The protagonist, Li Jianchi, has no romantic storyline, but the stories she writes cover contemporary romance, historical romance, no-couple fiction, fan works, and children's literature.
P.S. It took me over half a year to get a contract, and I was rejected dozens of times. I've had plenty of failures, so I've got a lot to write about.
(I keep stubbornly plugging away at Jinjiang, and a kind-hearted god rescued me. I'm still obscure, but I'll keep trying!)
