Friends in a Small Town

I hesitated for a long time when choosing the classification of the work. I positioned it as an adult fairy tale, and other labels seemed not to be particularly accurate╮(╯╰)╭ The original creation was influenced by the book "Flower and Tongue" and Latin American magical realism literature. Later, it was also influenced by Oscar Wilde's fairy tales. It is still an independent story, all set in a small town. As stated in the original intention, fantasy is vital, and I hope everyone will have a unique dream-chasing experience.

If it were done to a human, I would probably be scared, but if it were a cat, I would understand. Cats are inherently vulnerable in human society, and unlike dogs, they don't recognize their home like dogs. They are very likely to be unable to come back if they are let out. In addition, there have been frequent cat abuse incidents recently, and I am very worried about the situation of free-range cats. Simply speaking from the perspective of a cat owner, I am very disappointed.

When I first read the beginning, I sighed that the text had a fable-like feel, as if I was opening a translation of Grimm's Fairy Tales. I didn't expect that it was indeed classified into the fairy tale category. It was an unexpected surprise.
