Synopsis
(Important: This story contains scenes that may be uncomfortable for some readers. Please avoid if that bothers you.)
Zhu Xuan transmigrated from a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by natural disasters to the 1990s, where she became a proud elementary school English teacher.
Before the disasters, Zhu Xuan had earned a master's degree in English translation from a prestigious university. Teaching elementary school students was a piece of cake. When she needed extra money, she translated for foreigners or worked as a tour guide at scenic spots, earning tips. All in all, she led a pretty comfortable life.
But her mother, Mrs. Bai, didn't want her to get too comfortable. She kept asking people to arrange blind dates for her.
Zhu Xuan: "..." Does she really want to marry me off that badly?

At a newly opened teahouse, Zhu Xuan finished one cup of tea after another, but the man never showed up.
As far as she was concerned, he was already out of the running. The delicious aroma coming from next door kept drifting over, and she immediately called a server to order some food.
Just as Zhu Xuan was enjoying her meal, a handsome man with long legs, broad shoulders, and a slim waist appeared before her. He wore gold-rimmed glasses, and his fringe was slightly damp.
She wiped her mouth and asked with a dazzling smile, "Hey, handsome, who are you?"
"I'm the man Auntie Ye set you up with. My name is Liang Yunrui."
Her smile vanished in an instant, replaced by a cold expression.
Even the nicest voice and the most breathless panting wouldn't help him, unless he could pant a few more times.

One day, Zhu Xuan came across two men in suits scratching their heads in confusion. When she got closer, she heard them speaking French! She knew French! It was her second minor language!
She led them to the district government building, where she happened to run into Liang Yunrui and his colleagues, who were out looking for someone.
It turned out the two foreigners had gotten lost. She was also invited to serve as their personal interpreter.
All right, for the sake of our motherland, she'd take the job!
While no one was paying attention, Liang Yunrui sneaked up beside Zhu Xuan and whispered, "Xuanxuan, let's have dinner together tonight."
Zhu Xuan gave him a haughty nod. "I suppose I can make time for you." Inwardly, she was thrilled. Just you wait, I'm going to win you over.
After finishing work for the day, they went together to a local teahouse restaurant.
Liang Yunrui thoughtfully poured her tea and helped rinse the bowls, then asked cautiously, "Xuanxuan, when are you going to tell your mother about us?"
Zhu Xuan pretended not to understand and asked, "About what?"
She hadn't expected the aloof heartthrob to be so upset that he looked ready to cry, like a wronged little wife.
She couldn't resist a man who silently shed tears and looked ridiculously beautiful while doing it.
Zhu Xuan softened and coaxed him. "I'll tell her, I'll tell her. I'll do it as soon as I get home." She was going to bring him home and make him cry for her every day.
The man wiped away his tears and obediently nodded.
His puppy eyes were full of delight.
He was way too easy to placate!
A few words of advice:
1. This is a slow-paced, everyday-life story. The heroine has no particularly powerful golden finger after she transmigrates. At most, she can run incredibly fast, has a bit of strength, and possesses exceptionally keen senses.
Important note: That's the plan, but since I'm writing without an outline, the story will depend on my mood and tastes each day, so I may be rather spontaneous. I will, however, tie up the foreshadowing... Please avoid if that bothers you. I will stick to the heroine's characterization: she came from the apocalypse and pretends to be a little sunshine. Expect everyday family drama, a touch of gore and horror, and sweet romance! If that's not your thing, please don't read! Thank you!
2. This is a happy ending, a sweet romance between the leads.
Theme: Believing in love isn't hard
