Villager B: Don't make things up. She's still selling tofu, and I heard she's even selling it in town now!
Villager C: Hey, didn't I hear that the Lin family's relatives started selling tofu too?
Lin An inherited excellent cooking skills from her family. Just as she was about to start a business, someone tripped her as she walked out the door. She stumbled and, for no apparent reason, passed out.
When she woke up, she'd transmigrated. Her relatives in the neighboring branch of the family had just stolen her business, and she was being framed. The original owner had been shoved by Lin Ping'er, her cousin from that branch, and hit her head, leaving her unconscious.
As an onlooker, Lin An thought the whole thing was downright bizarre. The two families had tacitly agreed not to compete for business for over a decade, yet one day Lin Ping'er suddenly got her family into the tofu business too.

But none of that was a big deal. What problem can't be solved with a good meal? If one meal won't do it, then make it two. Lin An took charge in the kitchen herself, shouldered the banner of Tofu Beauty, and branched out into tofu products. Later, she even bought a little shop and started the small business she'd always dreamed of.
The bookkeeper she'd taken a liking to was a big help, too, and her life became lively and fulfilling.
Lin Ping'er: She watched her cousin in the neighboring branch make a roaring success of selling tofu. Within a year, a restaurant in town had taken a liking to her and started ordering tofu from her.
Meanwhile, her own family was a mess. In the end, she was forced into a chaotic marriage and driven to throw herself into a lake.
When she woke up, her cousin's family hadn't made it big yet. This was her chance! She'd steal their business first, then follow her cousin's path step by step and leave her with nowhere to go.
But why weren't things going the way she'd imagined? What was her cousin doing??
