Synopsis

Su Yuanqiu opened her eyes and found herself transmigrated into the body of a little orphan girl in the 1960s. Her only family, her grandfather, had just been buried.

Good news: She had an urban household registration, a car, and a house.

Bad news: The old man had been a fortune-teller, making him one of the targets of the current campaign to "smash" old customs.

Thinking about what was coming, Su Yuanqiu felt a headache coming on. She decided to take advantage of the situation, go to the countryside, and make her way to Hong Kong.

After a night of danger and excitement, she finally made it to the bustling streets of Hong Kong. Su Yuanqiu rubbed her growling stomach and searched her empty pockets.

To make sure she could eat, Su Yuanqiu gritted her teeth, put up a fortune-teller's banner, and took up her family's old trade.

"Brother Chicken, you're in danger of bloodshed in the next few days."

Two days later, the Hong Kong Daily's front-page headline read: #Gang fight! Fearless Brother Chicken hacked to death and left lying in the street#

"Mr. Zhou, your son is actually your younger brother."

Three days later, the Hong Kong Daily reported: #Father becomes older brother! Banana tycoon falls for his daughter-in-law. Father and son share the same woman#

"Miss Zhang, your husband has cheated on you twice."

Two days later, an innocent rich girl beat up her leech of a husband, a cheating octopus of a man. From then on, she swore off love and took another path from which there was no return.

Su Yuanqiu became a famous fortune-teller in Hong Kong by sheer coincidence, and many people came to seek her predictions.

She built up her funds step by step, going from a roadside stall to a snack shop and then a chain of restaurants. When Hong Kong's real estate market slumped, she bought up property at rock-bottom prices, fulfilling her past life's dream of collecting rent and making money while lying flat!
