Who's the Third Wheel?

"Luxury, fully renovated apartment for rent at a rock-bottom price! Three people sharing. City water and electricity, elevator, property management, and security! And don’t worry, a couple has already signed the lease. You can move right in as soon as you sign!" After hearing the landlord’s promises, Shen Zhisheng signed the lease on the spot. What she didn’t know was that the lousy landlord had said the same thing to her roommates to close the deal quickly. * Shen Zhisheng was devastated when she met her two male roommates. But she had already signed the lease, so she had no choice but to accept that she’d be sharing an apartment with a same-sex couple. Fortunately, they were both easy on the eyes and had decent personalities. They treated her pretty well, too. Except they loved pretending not to know each other in front of her, hiding their relationship, and constantly asking her to be their third wheel when they went out together, then privately badmouthing each other to her. But whatever. Being a third wheel is just part of a couple’s game! She knew her place! * Song Shishen and Li Yao had disliked each other for a long time. Song Shishen thought Li Yao was frivolous and childish, with an over-the-top, tasteless style and no manners. Li Yao thought Song Shishen was stodgy and old-fashioned, a hypocritical, sinister, pretentious creep who was always making snide remarks. Of course, most importantly, they had both fallen for the same woman: Shen Zhisheng. One of the three of them was bound to be a third wheel. But why did it have to be either of them? They both thought to themselves. Reader's guide: 1. All three are single, and they misunderstand one another. 2. A ridiculous, brainless comedy meant to help you unwind. Core theme: Don’t judge people by appearances. Look at what they do.
