A Guide to Raising a Brooding Man in an Otome Game

Su Ling looks reserved and well-behaved, but she likes sickly, brooding men and has the attention span of a goldfish.

Bound to a decidedly laid-back Rescue System, her first target is Xu Anlan, a man who seems refined and radiant on the outside but is sharp-minded, ruthless, and cold-hearted by nature.

When Xu Anlan was eighteen, the wealthy Xu family brought home the real young master who had been lost for years. Overnight, Xu Anlan, the fake young master, fell from grace.

On his first day living on the streets, Su Ling took him home and raised him like a younger brother. Less than a month later, her enthusiasm wore off, and she decided to court disaster in a big way. If the mission failed, she'd get to move on to the next world.

That night, beneath the hazy, murky moonlight, Su Ling climbed into Xu Anlan's bed.

She loosely tied him to the bed and had her way with him. Knowing Xu Anlan was only pretending to play along and hadn't slept at all, Su Yu muttered in disdain:

"Not much to him. Ji Shichuan is better."

Ji Shichuan was the next mission target she had chosen for herself.

After talking big, Su Ling scratched the hand Xu Anlan had used to grab her ankle. Right in front of him, she leapt from the balcony. But the mission-completion notification she expected never came...

The System meekly explained that her next three mission worlds had accidentally merged with the current one. To make amends, the System had given her three extra lives.

But that's not nearly enough lives to keep four creepy, brooding men from coming after her! QAQ!!

Su Ling never imagined she'd die twice in one day. With just one life left, she somehow managed to survive under Xu Anlan's nose.

She also never imagined that, on a night thick with darkness, after locking Xu Anlan in the wardrobe, she'd be pinned down on her living-room sofa by Ji Shichuan, while the noble academy's young master who wanted to see her and the aloof top student were outside: one climbing through a window, the other standing in the hallway with a deeply gloomy expression...

But she only has one life left! What is she supposed to do?
