[Korean Showbiz] Riding the Wind

How do you describe Song Seongjang?

First, say she grew up following the rules and was famous far and wide as everyone else's ideal child.

Then say there's a fire burning inside her. She's the brightest person onstage. When she's there, you can't see anyone else.

Finally, say she's an optimistic child who never hangs her head in front of her fans.

Is that really true?

Twenty-three-year-old Song Seongjang shook her head. "Life is a wilderness. I'm always ready to leave the beaten path and make my own way."

In early spring, thirteen-year-old Song Seongjang was brought to PLEDIS by Choi Seungcheol.

At sixteen, Renee stood amid a flurry of paper petals, clutching a microphone and crying tears of joy.

At nineteen, Renee debuted again with her friends, and they were hailed as "monster rookies."

The optimistic, upbeat Renee in the public eye, the Renee who always smiles with boundless energy, the Renee whose rare tears break your heart, is actually a bad girl in her friends' eyes.

"I want to live a grand, passionate life, with lots of people watching me and needing me, and a love that's constant and so intense it takes my breath away."

Highlights

* There will be irreverent forum posts. Skip them if you don't like them.

* The story may feel uneven, and it won't make the characters into perfect saints. Everyone has their own selfish desires.
