[Sunny, cheerful, puppy-like girl x cold-faced, aloof, cat-like boy]
Maximum sweetness x male pursues female x funny campus story x she saves him x growing together x mutual pining becomes love x love at first sight
The male lead, Liao Zhi, falls in love at first sight with the female lead, Zhou Muwan, during a falling paint-can incident on a typhoon day.
Later, Liao Zhi returns to school and unexpectedly becomes Zhou Muwan's deskmate. That's when he starts secretly crushing on her.
"Hey! Kapok!"
When next we meet beneath the blossoms, I swear I won't leave even when my hair turns white.
Youth is a thunderclap roaring past, a ripple, the color of the wind, an encounter that never ends. For Liao Zhi, youth is Zhou Muwan: conversations beneath the kapok tree, a secret crush, the guilty panic of being the first to hide, a seagull searching for an island, the scent of a breeze as it passes, confusion, and unease.
