An Office Drone, but Saving the World

This world doesn't need saving.

Work, work, work.

Just as I wanted to blow up the school when I was a student, after starting work I carried on that same mindset. I just want the world to explode, the world to end, or a zombie apocalypse to break out. Anything would do.

That's what Gu Kechu thinks.

At twenty-eight, after six years of struggling through the working world, this overworked office drone just wants to shut down the computer, take off his glasses, and close his eyes in peace.

But...

At 9:22:54 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 3023, by the Star Calendar,

Gu Kechu, the office drone who had just finished working overtime and left the company, pushed up his glasses, expressionless, and was busy saving the world.

Picking someone like me to be the world's savior? The world might as well destroy itself.

The savior, who finished work at four in the morning, went home, and showed up at the office right on time for an eight o'clock morning meeting, cursed the world.

"This is bullshit," Gu Kechu said. He flicked the blood off his dagger and watched the next day's sun slowly rise. "A world where you have to work overtime on the weekend is bullshit."
