Exploring a Forbidden Zone of a Hundred Years

Adventure * Survival * Ancient Tomb

There is a snow-capped mountain in China that no one has ever successfully summited. The death rate among those who attempt it is 100 percent. This is Kawagebo Peak, the main summit of Meili Snow Mountain, on the border between Tibet and Yunnan.

In 1991, a joint Chinese-Japanese mountaineering team decided to take on this most challenging peak in the world. All 17 members of the team mysteriously disappeared when they were just over 200 meters from the summit.

After an investigation, no one could explain what had happened. China's government designated the main peak of Meili Snow Mountain a forbidden zone.

After being tricked, Wen Song ended up entering the mountain by a twist of fate.

Note:

1. Kawagebo Peak in Meili Snow Mountain, as described in the story, really has been designated a forbidden zone in China, and climbing it is prohibited.

2. The story includes many original settings and follows a power-up progression.

Part of the same series as my completed novel, I Don't Like You Anymore.

Please add my upcoming novel, She's in the Fog, to your reading list.

1,

Lin Nuannuan has a secret: she's had a crush on someone for seven years.

From high school through college, she could only follow behind that aloof figure.

She didn't dare tell him. She only wrote his name on paper, again and again.

Pei Ji.

Pei Ji.

Pei Ji.

2,

Then, during a field survey, the campus belle Xia Wan was found unconscious and severely injured inside a cave.

All the evidence pointed to Lin Nuannuan. Her advisor summoned her for a meeting, criminal investigators came to her door, and her secret crush was exposed. The entire internet accused her of acting out of jealousy.

She wanted to explain.

Pei Ji gave her only one sentence: "Stay away from me from now on."

She stared blankly for a long moment, then suddenly smiled.

At herself, and at those seven years.

3,

A few days later, Xia Wan woke up, and the truth came out.

Everyone realized they had wronged Lin Nuannuan. They posted apologies one after another, only to discover that Lin Nuannuan had already entered that cave and never come back out.

Outsiders all said she had died inside.

Only Pei Ji went into the cave alone, searching for three days and finding nothing.

4,

Half a year later, during a secret mission, Pei Ji encountered her again.

Dressed in black gauze, she stood deep in Mount Ailao, shrouded in mist.

Before a giant moss-covered stone Buddha, she heard a sound and turned to look at him.

There was no surprise or resentment in her eyes, only a calm as still as water, as if she were looking at a stranger.

A companion asked, "Do you know her?"

She looked away, her voice as hazy as mist.

"No. Let's go."
