The night before applying to college, Yun Xiang awakened to the fact that she was the villainess in a Mary Sue novel titled The Domineering CEO Falls for Me.
The novel laid out in detail how she would apply to Starlight University alongside the male lead to win his affection, and all the stupid things she would do to keep him from getting together with the heroine.
Yun Xiang: “...”
She looked at the college application form on her smart device. There it was, in black and white: [Starlight University].
She immediately crossed it out!
She chose a military academy. She'd studied hard since childhood for the sake of getting into one!
The next second, the Mary Sue heroine System bound itself to her.
Its welcome gift was a Mary Sue-style mood controller.
When she was sad, knives fell from the sky. When she was happy, it rained rainbows.
Yun Xiang: “...”
The plot careened out of control.
So...
During the freshman assessment, as she faced an endless swarm of mutated beasts, she pulled out a top-tier angst novel and started reading.
Her teammates were already furious that she wasn't helping. Seeing her reading a novel on the sidelines made them even angrier. “Yun Xiang! Could you show some team spirit? If we lose, none of us will get into the military academy!”
At that, Yun Xiang looked up, her little face streaked with tears.
The next second, knives rained from the sky.
Centered on Yun Xiang, the knives had no eyes beyond a ten-meter radius. The terrifying horde of mutated beasts was wiped out by the knife rain in just ten minutes.
On the way to repel the insect race, every battleship's systems malfunctioned, leaving them stranded on a barren planet with no energy left in their ships.
She started livestreaming herself grilling skewers on the barren planet.
Just as the barrage of comments was expressing sympathy for her difficult situation, Yun Xiang saw the comments and laughed out loud.
Immediately, rainbows fell from the sky.
The rainbow rain fell on the battleships. Their lights flickered, and their energy reserves filled up...
It also doused her grill, while the mechs inside the ships had their energy topped up.
Yun Xiang: “...”
The viewers: “...”
When the insect race heard that the Imperial army was stranded on a barren planet and all its ships and mechs had run out of energy, they planned to wipe out the Imperial forces in one fell swoop!
But when they arrived, they saw fully charged battleships and mechs glowing with energy. “...”
The rainbow rain still hadn't stopped. It even had an enemy-or-ally detection system. As soon as the insect race's battleships arrived, their energy started draining away.
Yun Xiang laughed even harder, and the rainbow rain came down even more fiercely.
The insect race: “Help! The Empire is cheating!”

After completing various missions, her Mary Sue points went up. She exchanged them for items like Bewitching Charm, Beauty That Shames the Moon, Beauty That Sinks Fish and Scares Geese, and Beauty Like a Flower.
Each item displayed extraordinary abilities.
Yun Xiang pondered.
With these!
There was absolutely no way she'd interfere with the male and female leads' Mary Sue romance!
Reading guide:
