The Science of Ghostly Sleep Paralysis

Please save this, everyone!

Qianxia is a ghost.

After dying, she lost her memories and began following an elementary school detective around, making snarky comments and watching the drama unfold as they solved mysteries and went on adventures. She also helped the little detective catch criminals. Her life as a little ghost was easy and carefree, and she even had no desire to reincarnate.

Lately, Qianxia has felt as if she is about to disappear, but...

Sleeping on someone can earn her yang energy, letting her achieve the feat of haunting them without ever going away.

But she has some very particular requirements about whom she can sleep on. It has to be a specific person.

Bed-pressing target No. 1: Blond hair and dark skin.

He stays up later than a dog and gets up earlier than a chicken, and he never eats on time.

Nobody is going to steal his title as the Emperor of Part-Time Jobs. If he won't sleep, how is she supposed to press on him?

Bourbon discovers some strange creature has appeared in his home.

Notes filled with concern, steaming hot food, and Haro clinging to the air instead of him...

Until he sees a beautiful, pale girl sitting on his bed, murmuring:

"Go to sleep already. I really want to press on you. If I don't do it soon, I'll die."

"..."

As soon as he lies down, the girl curls up in his arms, her sleeping face peaceful and obedient.

So, should he tell her?

He can see her, and he can touch her, too.

He stays undecided until she insists on following him into the bath.

Bourbon, bare-chested: "..."

I dare to take my clothes off. Do you dare to look?

Bed-pressing target No. 2: The silver-haired killer.

He's another champion at staying up late.

Qianxia is furious!

After finally waiting for him to fall asleep, she lies on top of him and presses down again and again, only to be overwhelmed by the heavy stench of blood and smoke around him.

One day, she says what she's thinking out loud.

The man raises his Beretta and points it at her head.

His voice is low and icy: "I've let you press on me for so long, and you still dare to complain?"

Help!!

But she figures bullets can't hit ghosts, so she goes wild.

Bed-pressing target No. 3: Pink hair and sleepy eyes.

At last, this guy doesn't stay up late.

Qianxia is very pleased.

It's just that he doesn't seem to be an ordinary college student.

This man actually has two faces!!

At night, she feels his pectoral muscles and shamelessly takes advantage of him.

The next second...

"Want to try what it feels like to be pressed down?"

Qianxia is trapped in the crook of his arm, staring straight into his green eyes.

She can't make sense of the emotions in them. It seems like he's holding something back.

She can only think, dazedly:

Being pressed down actually doesn't seem so bad?

Qianxia also meets lots of ghost friends.

Cat eyes, little curls, droopy eyes, a gentle older sister, and a cool woman with different-colored eyes...

One after another, they come to ask her:

Want to try what it feels like to press down on a ghost?

Qianxia lowers her head and thinks it over.

A few seconds later, she beams with innocent delight: I don't see why not!
