After Being Reborn, the Idle Noblewoman Just Wants to Lie Flat

Ye Zhanyin, the Ye family's legitimate daughter, is peerlessly beautiful, graceful, and virtuous, a role model for the young women of the capital. Reborn ten years in the past, she decides to live a different kind of life.

The Seventh Prince, Shen Siheng, is the capital's most notorious wastrel: bad-tempered, willful, and given to a life of debauchery. He's skilled in all sorts of unorthodox tricks and never has anything to do with respectable affairs.

Shen Siheng gets into a street brawl. As Ye Zhanyin passes by in her carriage, she lifts the curtain and asks, "Seventh Lord, what color do you like?"

"That one." He points at the splashes of blood on the ground, grinning wildly.

She lowers her eyes to look, then smiles sweetly.

On a dark, windy night, Shen Siheng returns drunk. Someone throws a sack over his head and carries him off.

When he sees daylight again, Ye Zhanyin is seated before him, smiling demurely. "Seventh Lord likes red, so I specially dyed the sack red to welcome you. Are you satisfied?"

"What do you want?" Shen Siheng peers out of the red sack, his expression teasing and dangerous.

Ye Zhanyin crouches down and leans close with a smile. "Marry me. I saw you once from afar and fell desperately in love. I won't marry anyone but you."

Shen Siheng grins, showing all his teeth. "Sure."

He'd always known he was a scoundrel, but he hadn't expected to meet a madwoman today.

If she dares to marry him, there's nothing he wouldn't dare do in return.
