Hua Qi read a post-apocalyptic novel about mutated plants before going to sleep. She never expected to transmigrate the moment she opened her eyes.
She didn’t become one of the named protagonists or supporting characters in the book. Instead, she became a mutated corpse flower, commonly known as a “corpse flower” or a “carrion flower.”
She’d worked with flowers and plants in her previous life, and now she’d become one herself? Hua Qi was helpless, but took it in stride.
Thanks to her unusual nature, Hua Qi settled into a peaceful life in this other world, eating well, sleeping well, and raising “underlings.”
Before she knew it, she was eating more and more, until she became the undisputed queen of the forest.
Then one day, she discovered that her number one underling had vanished!
And so began her journey of pulling up her roots and setting off to find him.
Along the way, she was shocked to discover that her number one underling was actually the book’s biggest villain, the Sky-Piercing Tree...
In the sixth year of the New Era, the “Devourer King,” the Devil Flower, and the “Mighty Colossus,” the Sky-Piercing Tree, established a plant kingdom and enacted the New Green Laws.
Mutated plants rejoiced: “Let’s wipe out those hateful humans. This world belongs to us!”
Humans grew wary: “We can’t let this plant kingdom get established. We have to strike first!”
Hua Qi: “Did you not see the new laws? Do you not understand what it means to live in peace? I don’t care whether you’re a mutated plant or a human, get lost!”
Don’t ask. The old lady ranks first in overall ability, and the Sky-Piercing Tree ranks first in strength. With the two of us working together, who could we not crush???
