---Story blurb---
Qing Wu, a socially anxious, sharp-tongued God of War who loves tea and is incredibly powerful x Chu Xu, a sensitive, insecure genius who knows how to talk x a sociable, easygoing, food-loving scroll x an immature, carefree fangirl Phoenix
A thousand years after the Six Gods fell, Qing Wu fell into a deep sleep. She had barely awakened when she heard the terrible news.
The ancient scroll Chu Xu had once been appointed to manage all the remnant souls left behind when the gods fell, ever since the creation of the world.
He had been living a carefree life in the Heavenly Beyond for the past thousand years.
He'd visit the Fucang Pavilion to read and tease the old men in the Celestial Realm below!
Munching on peaches with his legs up, who could have it better than me?
But just before Qing Wu awoke, someone ambushed him and shattered his divine soul. With his soul scattered, the order of the world teetered on the brink.
There was no choice. The socially anxious God of War Qing Wu, who had only just woken up and was still dazed, had to take the scroll to the lower realm to find his scattered soul.
Along the way, Chu Xu kept eating while Qing Wu followed behind him, expressionless, eliminating every danger.
When they were in danger:
Chu Xu: I'm so scared! Aaaaah! There's a ghost!!
Qing Wu lifted an eyebrow, took a sip of tea, and twitched a finger.
The enemy: Took ten thousand points of damage!
When they faced a problem:
Chu Xu: Is this really something someone my age should have to deal with?! He immediately retreated behind Qing Wu.
Qing Wu's brow twitched. A problem that looked difficult and really was difficult? Solved!
Qing Wu's inner thoughts: That's it? How boring.
Along the way, they first met Duan Qingfeng, whose identity was shrouded in mystery and who wanted to join them. Later, she ran into an old friend, who got jealous of the scroll for trying to steal her attention.
She waved a hand. What can I say? The God of War is just that charming!
Humans and demons love each other, and the gods have feelings too. Friends share life and death, and faith is what people offer in worship.
The setting is loosely based on the Song Dynasty, with few invented details.
The first version of the blurb was screenshotted on June 9, 2023.
The writing is a bit amateurish. I'll revise any parts that don't make sense after completing the whole story.
Warnings:
1. Not a traditional xianxia story, with an original mythology and divine hierarchy.
2. The villain doesn't seek to destroy the world, and has no romance.
3. The characters are imperfect.
---Upcoming story blurb---
Starts January 1. Chapters are ready in advance.
A clever, sharp-tongued, chuuni princess who seems foolish x a proud, dashing, vain, arrogant, and tsundere male lead
Qu Hengwu is a third-year acting student.
She diligently attends class and hones her craft. Just when she finally gets an audition, someone with connections snatches the role away from her.
She was so furious she got even angrier. After a night of drinking to drown her sorrows, she opened her eyes and found she'd transmigrated into a melodramatic novel she'd once read.
Bad news: She'd transmigrated into a book.
Good news: She was a doomed princess, a minor character who dies early, and she had eleven years left to live.
Even better news: The main characters were all still children. She could become friends with them and change her tragic fate of dying young.
So six-year-old Hengwu huffed and puffed as she ran out to recruit the young protagonists and villains as her underlings.
As long as she raised them well, they'd all grow up to be fair-minded, law-abiding, patriotic young people!
Then she wouldn't have to die!
But could someone tell her why the protagonists were so different as children?!
The chubby, bespectacled little boy who says "What a sage!" as soon as he opens his mouth is actually the original novel's male lead!
The lively "heroine" whose imagination can jump from Dream of the Red Chamber to Harry Potter is actually the original novel's delicate heroine, always on the verge of tears?!
The third male lead has half the male lead's traits but is vain, arrogant, hopeless at school, and never makes a comeback!
The little crybaby who stutters and bursts into tears at the slightest thing is the future scheming villain who controls the whole board?!
Qu Hengwu: I'm completely overwhelmed and shocked, but I can't say anything.
This world is bizarre, but even more bizarre is Qu Hengwu, who has to stay strong and survive in it.
Qu Hengwu, who's on the verge of tears, has lost the will to live, has a split personality, and is as tough as a cockroach, says: None of this is a big deal!
I can do it. I really can!
It's sort of a story about a bunch of kids! The first part is about friendship in their youth, with no romance in their childhood. The later part is under wraps for now, and there may be some angst in the middle.
The male lead is vain and arrogant as a child. When he grows up, he's tsundere and stubborn.
Theme: Protect the world! Righteousness will triumph over evil!
It's so difficult to write, a whole state of collapse and trance! How can I cram in so many philosophical truths? How do I make this transition? I've been stuck on this part for a week. I'm so desperate. Help. I have the outline of the chapter but I just can't finish the details. I'm going to collapse. I'm going to go crazy.
Finished spreading flowers ~ extra chapter soon!
Sad, so sad, why is the finale so difficult to write (well, the finale is almost here, only five or six chapters left)
Kavin is so sad, woo woo woo (T^T)
If there is no update at 23:00, it will be tomorrow ~ I'm a little stuck
I have a stomachache today. If it doesn't hurt at night, I will update. If there is no update at 23:00, it will be updated tomorrow.
Don't feel bad! It's not your fault (touch), I will look forward to Xuezhufu, come on!
Touch (??ω?)?(._.`), The ungrateful villain is not worthy of your attention, the author. Don't let those bad guys hinder your progress, otherwise you will really follow their wishes.
Happy New Year ~ I wish you all!
Finished spreading flowers!!!!
