Outwitting One Another

Blurb 1:

"Finance is the most hypocritical thing there is, and it's perfect for me."

He had always known there was a vulture living deep within him. He had honed his lies and acting to perfection, wrapping that "vulture" up so no one would ever find it.

He and Yang Yuheng were both "beasts": deceitful, dishonest, suspicious, ruthless, mad, bloodthirsty...

They instinctively hunted their prey and charged headlong into danger, even if it meant plunging off a cliff or dying at the edge of an abyss.

The day they met was the only day they were pure and untainted. Every day afterward, they schemed against each other.

Blurb 2:

His eyes remained fixed on the glossy black fountain pen. "Yang Yuheng, you know what signing these dozen or so pages means."

Yang Yuheng said, "I know."

Ji Yi's lips curved slightly. When he looked up at him again, his eyes were clear. "All right."

Blurb 3:

Yang Yuheng lowered his head, furious and resentful. "What is he helping you with? Helping you deceive me? Ji Yi, what you're doing to me is unfair."

Ji Yi's breath caught for a moment. In the end, he only chuckled. "You've deceived me so many times, and I've only deceived you once. It really is unfair."

"I underestimated you."

"And I overestimated you." Ji Yi took a deep breath and stopped, turning to look at the busy figures outside the airport. "Let's never meet again."

Yang Yuheng sneered, a vicious glint in his eyes. "Those words don't suit us."

1. A calculating, strategic bottom X a scheming, unhinged, deep-minded top

3. Not mutually chaste (the top is chaste) (If you don't like that, steer clear)
