Yun Yao is a little shadow-puppet fairy from the Ninth Heaven. She may have survived a great calamity in the past, because when she ascended, she somehow lost one of her souls of love.
So she created a doppelganger and secretly descended to the mortal realm to travel. She thought that revisiting the places she once knew might help her find her lost soul of love.
Along the way, she happened upon a jade talisman that released a handsome spirit servant. The only problem was that the servant was extremely arrogant, and had lost his memories.
A fairy missing her soul of love, and a servant missing his memories.
Together, they travel the world, lay resentful spirits to rest, and search for the past.
