The Celestial Master Seems Frail, but He's Actually Incredibly Strong!

Blurb:

To investigate the demons, Dongfang Xiu had no choice but to stay temporarily at the Celestial Master's residence.

The residence's owner, Zhao Jia, was a frail, ordinary man. Every day, he did nothing but eat and sleep. He'd be panting after walking a few steps, and aside from his handsome face, he was good for nothing.

If someone like him learned that he was surrounded by demons who killed without blinking, he'd probably be scared to death.

So Dongfang Xiu decided to eliminate every demon before Zhao Jia found out. He absolutely couldn't let him know such terrifying things existed.

A monster with a human head and a snake's body opened its cavernous maw right in front of Zhao Jia.

Zhao Jia: Why does this snake have a human head?

Dongfang Xiu explained: Just a deformity.

Then he stabbed it through the head with his sword.

A person-sized spider crawled out of a villager's belly.

Zhao Jia: Why is it so big?

Dongfang Xiu smiled: Too much nutrition.

Then he swung his blade and chopped off its legs.

A water monster crawled out of the water, wanting to suck the blood of the people aboard a boat.

Dongfang Xiu was just about to explain.

Zhao Jia cut in: It's just a big, weird-looking fish, right?

Dongfang Xiu was relieved: ...Right.

Later, Dongfang Xiu fell into a trap set by the demons. By the time he finally escaped and came panting to Zhao Jia's rescue, the Demon King, who even he might not have been able to defeat, was lying on the ground, barely alive.

When Zhao Jia saw him arrive, he shook the Demon King's blood off his hand and said in a flat voice: That was terrifying.

Demon King: ??? Explain yourself. Who was terrifying whom?

That day, the demons learned a lesson: never casually provoke anyone who looks like a frail, ordinary person.
