No, wait, a bat.

Then, startled, the custard bun hiccupped and transformed before their eyes into the terrifying vampire duke from the story, a killer who left no trace of blood.

Huh? The vampire duke???

Lin Ya, hiccupping: I'm doomed!

Bad news: He'd completely ruined the vampire duke's dignity and image.

Good news: He was the vampire duke now.

Though he didn't have the vampire duke's powerful abilities, he did have the unconditional reverence of every vampire.
