Mei Li's plan to lie flat had gone up in smoke. But looking at the mountain of dried fish and canned cat food sent by everyone at the school, she decided she could probably make this life work.

Yu Bijue was a total fur enthusiast, but he was born on a remote planet piled high with garbage. He grew up living by the sword and had a vicious air about him, so no small animals would go near him.

One day, he found an admissions brochure in a garbage heap. He saw a cat named "Mei Li" in it and fell in love at first sight.

Yu Bijue cut out Mei Li's picture and carried it with him everywhere. He fought with all his might to get into the Imperial Military Academy from the remote planet.

On the day he enrolled, the senior cat students gathered at the gate to welcome the newcomers. As soon as he approached, all the little cats panicked and ran away.

As expected... Yu Bijue gave a self-mocking smile and prepared to enter the school alone, but then he was drawn by a heart-melting meow.

He turned around in surprise. A beautiful tabby cat was racing toward him.

"One can of cat food, and Mei Li will go with you!"
