When Shen Zhiyu learned her arranged marriage was to Yue Shiheng, she wanted to call it off.

In the end, the man left her with one line: “Calling off the engagement is out of the question.”

Knowing there was no way to break off the engagement, Shen Zhiyu laid down three rules for Yue Shiheng. He agreed without hesitation.

In a private room, the man said casually, “If you really find me boring after we marry, I don’t mind you finding another man, as long as you keep it discreet.”

Shen Zhiyu asked incredulously, “What about you?”

As far as Yue Shiheng was concerned, the marriage was simply a mutually beneficial business arrangement. Shen Zhiyu didn’t like him, which was fine. He didn’t think he’d fall for a spoiled heiress either. If they couldn’t treat each other with respect after marriage, keeping out of each other’s way would work just as well.

That was until he saw Shen Zhiyu discussing a project late at night in her studio with a male colleague, sharing the stage with him at an exhibition, and staying in close contact with him in private.

Yue Shiheng clenched his fists in secret, but in the end, he was the one who gave in.
