[Blue Lock] The Fake Angel and Demon Make a Perfect Pair

Shidou Ryusei had always hated his squinty-eyed childhood friend, that bastard fox. But he never denied that he and Watakuyama Katz were irreplaceable partners. Only Katz could work with him perfectly and help him find the "fun" in soccer.

They should have been known as the most in-sync pair around.

Watakuyama Katz also disliked that musclebound, violent demon who only ever thought about scoring goals. But he liked trying to control and dominate Shidou Ryusei, then tame him and rise above the beast.

They should have been unstoppable, charging straight toward the World Cup.

When an invitation called "Blue Lock" arrived in their hands, Katz's eyes widened. He felt his blood boiling, and was sure that violent demon would feel the same.

"A-Shi, doesn't that sound ridiculously fun?" Like an angel descended from heaven, he offered the demon a sincere invitation.

"Then I'll play along with you." The demon agreed without hesitation.

After the third training session, Watakuyama couldn't find the familiar figure among the crowd, and anxiety began to gnaw at him. It wasn't until the big screen lit up that the annoying mushroom-headed guy decided Shidou Ryusei's fate for him. The smile vanished from Watakuyama's face.

"Isagi Yoichi." His expression was blank. "I'm seriously so damn pissed off right now. So, want to team up?"

The angel had lost his demon. He extended an olive branch to a seed. Next, he would take back what was his from that newcomer, Itoshi Sae. He would absolutely get it back. He wouldn't allow anyone to take from him what belonged to him.

The angel's hypocritical shell gradually fell away, and Watakuyama strode step by step toward the throne of God.
