On the day she moved into the Xu family home, Xu Jingxi slept until the afternoon, when Ying Minjing, gaming beside his bed, woke him up.

The boy's brows were clouded with sleepy exhaustion, and he looked thoroughly annoyed as he let the cat she'd raised wreak havoc on him.

Ying Minjing picked up the cat. "Xu Jingxi, I don't want us to be just ordinary friends anymore."

The room was warm. Her cheeks flushed, and she had never been more serious. Xu Jingxi ran a hand through his hair, momentarily forgetting to move.

Then she smiled at him. "From now on, you're my servant."
