Undine is a water spirit and a hopeless romantic.
Her first boyfriend was Nightwing.
Her second boyfriend was Red Robin.
Her third boyfriend (?) was the first two's dad.
After all three romances ended in failure, Undine felt like the whole world was against her.
But she couldn't bring herself to turn evil. Her junior fellow apprentice was the current Sorcerer Supreme, and was too busy working himself to the bone to support the household. Whenever Undine showed the slightest sign of wanting to turn into a mass of black sludge, he immediately nipped it in the bud.
