A story about a flirtatious man who manipulates a naive little immortal of the human clan, only to be won over himself. A tale of love and hate, of a broken relationship reunited.

Synopsis:

Hua Ying regretted it.

It was the first time in her life she'd ever felt regret, and she never imagined the consequences would be so serious.

As she looked at her once ethereal sect, now suffering the demon clan's ravages, she felt frozen to the bone.

She had never wronged anyone in her life. How had things come to this?

No matter how unwilling or remorseful she was, blood continued to pour from her mouth like a waterfall. The hollow in her chest showed that she was doomed to die.

As she lingered on the verge of death, she turned her head and seemed to see the person she held dear standing frozen in the distance, watching as she slowly fell into the abyss.

Hua Ying couldn't help but shed tears. With the strength she had left, she lifted the corners of her stiffening mouth and silently said to that person:

"If only you and I had never met."

There was no curse, no resentment. She simply regretted it.

This disaster had ultimately begun with her, and she had no complaints about the fate that awaited her. She only regretted that she'd trusted the wrong person, dragging countless living beings into it!

That day, the world changed, and everyone set out along an unknown path.

No one noticed. No one cared.

On that very day, a doctor named Bai Zhi also went mad...
