[Unhinged Powerful Chancellor X Gentle Doctor] Forced Possession + The Pursuit After the Breakup
Zhuang Linghan, daughter of a palace physician in the Zhou dynasty, was born with skin like ice and jade and stunning beauty.
Not long after marrying up to become the Crown Princess, she accompanied her husband to Chang’an, capital of Qi, as a hostage,
only for her Crown Prince husband to personally present her to the powerful chancellor of Qi, Chen Dingji, like a gift.
Chen Dingji wielded overwhelming power. In court and on the battlefield, he was domineering, ruthless, and unyielding,
and he showed no mercy to Zhuang Linghan, who had been sent to his bed.
Deep into the night, soft sobs could always be heard from the courtyard where the young chancellor kept his mistress.
“Your Lordship...”
“Call me your husband. From now on, you may only call me your husband.” Chen Dingji emphasized the word “my” with a vicious bite.
“Husband...” She could only change her form of address helplessly. “Please be gentle with me, husband...”
Whenever Zhuang Linghan watched his cold, resolute figure retreat afterward, she thought that this man, whose power dominated the court, would give her a title and protect her for the rest of her life.
But her wish went unfulfilled. In the end, the Crown Princess held hostage, who had traveled from the Zhou capital to the Qi capital, died on the night of the first winter snow in Qi.
Given another life, Zhuang Linghan would never repeat her past mistakes.
She no longer sought to marry up to the Crown Prince, and instead agreed to marry a low-ranking official of the sixth rank.
Her new husband treated her wonderfully. They were loving after marriage, and their life together was peaceful and happy.
But fate had other plans.
On a lonely, rainy night in the Qi capital, Zhuang Linghan was intent on saving someone,
when a familiar figure appeared before her and blocked her way.
Chen Dingji wore a tall official’s hat and a black robe. His tall, elegant figure stood before her, his deep, icy-clear eyes fixed on her.
“Madam, you look very familiar.”
Chen Dingji had made a name for himself while still young, and his power rivaled that of the state. Beautiful women had always surrounded him.
Yet at some point, a peerlessly beautiful woman began appearing in his dreams. He longed for her day and night, unable to find peace.
He thought it was nothing more than a coincidence.
Until one night, Lady Zhuang, wife of the Zhou envoy, bowed gracefully before him in simple clothes.
Chen Dingji gave in to his private desire and pointed her toward another path.
At first, Chen Dingji saw Lady Zhuang as a golden canary in a cage, a treasured beauty in the palm of his hand.
His beauty loved to run away, yet always returned with tearful eyes, crying and begging him.
He thought it would go on like this: he would dote on her and spoil her, and one day she would willingly let him possess her completely.
With a beauty in his arms and all the realm in his grasp,
the words “cannot have” had never been in his dictionary.
Until she took her revenge on him like that.
The young chancellor, always ruthless and decisive,
felt hollow inside, as though he had fallen into an endless abyss. His hair turned white overnight.
It turned out that she was not the one who could not live without him. He was the one who could not live without her.
Later, he held her close. Her face was streaked with tears, her lipstick smudged, and she could not even manage the pleas for mercy she had perfected.
But the man before her still had bloodshot eyes. With one hand, he untied the sash at her waist. With the other, he dipped a finger into the tear that had run to her cheek, then used the finger she had bitten bloody to add another touch of red to her lips.
“Madam, where do you think you’re going to run?”

Hong Kong vibes | Second-chance romance | Marriage first, love later | Running away while pregnant | Height difference | Age gap
Proud, stubborn, beautiful genius X Reserved, devoted tech tycoon
After dropping her son off at kindergarten, Yu Ruoqing got a call.
It was from her husband, whom she had not seen in five years:
“The agreed time is almost here.”
Cheng Jing’an was coming to Hong Kong to talk to her about getting a divorce.
-
When their friend learned they had been secretly married for five years, he was stunned.
“Yes, Yu Ruoqing and you were childhood sweethearts, but you haven’t had anything to do with each other for years!”
Outsiders only saw them as the most dazzling couple at Beicheng University. She was the only daughter of an academician, and he was her father’s favorite student.
But everyone in the know understood that her father had practically raised him as his own son.
Their friend pressed him:
“Why marry her? Because she’s beautiful? Because of her inheritance? Or because you felt sorry for her, since she was a genius too, yet Academician Yu deliberately overlooked her, and you wanted to make it up to her this way?”
“No, no. Yu Ruoqing hates you most of all. She’s stubborn and proud. Would she really accept you?”
Cheng Jing’an fell silent.
The man lowered his handsome, sharply defined brows and watched the last wisp of smoke rise from between his fingers.
It was just like that night, when she snatched the cigarette from his lips and put it in her own mouth,
pulled him onto the sofa, then sealed his lips with hers. “Help me...” “Please...”
She said it three times in a row.
Later, the sofa was soaked three times over.
“It’s all in the past,” their friend said consolingly.
“She’s now the youngest professor at Hong Kong University, and you’ve built a ten-figure fortune on your own. You should never have married in the first place, and you have no children or shared assets to complicate things. Maybe you should give her some of your assets as compensation?”
Before coming to Hong Kong, Cheng Jing’an had already prepared everything.
He no longer resented her for pretending to care and tossing him aside once she was done with him. He did not begrudge her for caring only about work and really going five years without contacting him, or for being too lazy even to humor him whenever he called.
Those two bright red documents were the first time their names had appeared together,
and they would be the last time in this life.
But at a private party on the Peak that night,
when someone saw how beautiful Yu Ruoqing was and how cute the little boy holding her hand looked, and went to approach her,
the rising tech tycoon, currently the talk of his circle, stopped him without a trace of politeness.
Cheng Jing’an stood tall and imposing, his handsome features casting a dark shadow over the man.
“Has no one told you that this is my wife and child?”
- One-on-one romance, both leads are each other’s one and only in body and heart, happy ending
- The story focuses on the push and pull between the leads. The child is just along for the ride

Theme: To love oneself and the other, saving others is also saving oneself
OK, finished reading! Why doesn't the heroine change the hero's name?
Woohoo, I was so moved when I read the full text. The story between Zhi Zhi and Chen Gou is really awesome, super pulling, I haven't seen such a non-industrial saccharine literary style in a long time. Wow.
Please, can you please write something like this again? I really haven't read enough 😭
Ahhh, are you going to make stuffed stuffed rice in that kind of place?
There are always some strange plot designs
I read this from another book by my wife. I didn't expect the story of Zhizhi and Chen Gou to be so heart-wrenching 🤩 Zhizhi in the parallel world has always been protected and accompanied by Chen Gou, and her ideals in life have been realized one by one. It's really sweet and perfect ❤️ I like it
I read this in one breath, and I didn't expect that the author also buried a husband joke, ah ah ah, I really like it [let me be healthy] [let me be healthy] [let me be healthy]
No!! What did the author think?!! Abuse for the sake of abuse??? Reading this chapter made me feel seriously physically uncomfortable!!! It's not torture, it's life! Reason! No! Suitable!!! I really want to give up the article. I am reading now just because of how Chen Dinglin died in the end.
Indeed, it's just a blast that this scumbag actually has someone to love him.
Why arrange such a drama? T_T
