1.
The year Jiang Liyun transferred to No. 2 High School, Wen Shunan was at her lowest, struggling to make ends meet.
The boy spoke from the lectern, his voice cool and clear, his presence sharp and imposing. He was someone countless girls admired from afar.
Wen Shunan heard the girl behind her ask excitedly, "Do you know Jiang Liyun...?"
Wen Shunan cut her off expressionlessly. "I don't know him."
Yet after school, the boy cornered her in a narrow alley.
As his handsome face drew closer, Wen Shunan's lashes trembled and she stepped backward again and again.
Jiang Liyun smiled carelessly. The black mole beneath his Adam's apple caught the light enticingly. "Why are you standing so far away from me?"
Then he added, in an unhurried tone,
"It's not like I'm going to run off with some other girl."

Everyone knew Jiang Liyun was handsome, refined, and a little roguish, always polite and proper. He was every bit the heaven-blessed favorite.
No one had ever seen this gentle, clean-cut top student lose control.
Until the day a fight broke out in the alley, fierce and chaotic.
The homeroom teacher, red-faced with anger, berated Jiang Liyun. "Why would you get into a fight at such a crucial point in your senior year? Do you not care about your future or your life?!"
The boy lowered his lashes, one hand in his pocket, and replied indifferently, "I couldn't stand him."
The crowd erupted. If Jiang Liyun had lost control and hit someone, the other guy must have brought it on himself.
Only Wen Shunan knew Jiang Liyun had done it to protect her.

At the graduation party, Jiang Liyun sang a song.
"Our moonlit conversation, so innocent and childlike. You asked me what it meant more than once."
His low, husky voice was like a lingering summer breeze.
Everyone thought it was just an ordinary song, and applauded and cheered without stopping.
Only Wen Shunan knew it was about the conversation they'd had beneath the moon the night before.
The moonlight flowed like water. Jiang Liyun's warm breath brushed her ear, his voice restrained yet bold. "Want to kiss a little longer?"
What Jiang Liyun didn't know was that the postcard Wen Shunan never sent was filled with secrets.
[That day, he shone brilliantly onstage, while I was just one insignificant face among the crowd below.
Later, the boy stood by my side, illuminating me, giving me everything, shaping who I became, and, most of all, giving me so much love.]
What Wen Shunan didn't know was that this wasn't their first meeting.
It was Jiang Liyun's long-planned reunion, a rescue, and a love that began with a flutter of the heart.
