“...”

Wen Yunian would never forget the day the light appeared.

On a dark, damp, rainy night, torn homework and books lay scattered across the ground. She sat on the steps, letting the icy rain soak her battered body.

When she looked up again, a girl who looked exactly like her came toward her, backlit, and reached out through the dimensional divide.

In that instant, it was as if the whole world had stopped.

That person told her:

I fought my way through flesh and blood to come to you.

Remember, in every moment of despair, I am right here with you.

“…”

[Blurb from another perspective]:

Wen Yunian often dreamed of a girl with the same face as her.

The girl had smooth, shoulder-length hair and dim eyes. In the fragments of those dreams, she was always writing Wen Yunian's name on blank sheets of paper.

Then one day, she foresaw the girl dying on the eve of the college entrance exam, her life forever frozen at seventeen.

So Wen Yunian would rather endure the pain of crossing dimensions than not come with a smile and pull her out of the abyss.

She took her scarred hand and whispered a promise in her ear:

I will take you to the dawn you create.

“…”

“She is the island I long for.”

High school student with depression x the self she imagined on the page

It's a campus doppelganger romance, a niche subject, but one I really love. Stories about self-redemption always move me qwq

Once I start posting, I'll probably be writing purely for love, but I still want to write it. Just want to savor the little thrill of writing exactly what I want!

The full manuscript is currently in progress.

Around 300,000 words, give or take~

The setting has changed slightly, but the general idea is the same.

The blurb was screenshotted in April 2023~~

Theme: Love and light will come in the end.
