"Damn it, the people from Cang Gou are just as shameless as ever! Attack!"
Their final hit had been stolen, and 30% of the boss's rewards had gone straight to someone else. The commander of the Gilded Sword Guild, clad in gleaming gold knight's armor, flew into a rage and ordered an attack.
A huge brawl erupted in the holographic forest.
A support player from the Gilded Sword with the skill [Don't Come Here to This Barbershop] immediately whipped out a pair of scissors. Along with lowering the enemy's mental points (SP), the skill gave them a hideous haircut.
The damage dealers from the Cang Lang Guild weren't about to be outdone. One of them unleashed [Sweep the Music Scene: Physical], hoisting a giant guitar and spinning into a whirlwind that dealt massive AOE damage.
As the two sides fought fiercely, the two war correspondents livestreaming from the bushes were just as enthusiastically munching sunflower seeds.
Suddenly, one of them noticed something was off.
A black-hooded assassin with incredible movement speed had appeared among the fighting crowd. Whenever he slipped out of sight, he would reappear just in time to claim another life.
"Is that [When the Firewood's Gone, It Naturally Cools]? Wasn't his account banned? Did they unban him?" The sunflower-seed eater was so startled that he dropped his seeds.
"The guy who's got a grudge against Cang Lang? It sure looks like him... Wow, those fluid moves. No wonder he's the top assassin."
The two reporters had a limited view from their hiding place, but the livestream viewers could see more than they could.
Sharp-eyed viewers noticed that the famous lone wolf was in a party, and someone was working with him, hitting Cang Lang's players with silence-lock skills.
Sitting on a tree branch and looking down over the battlefield, [My Company Hires Me to Be Here] watched with interest. His platinum hair shone translucent and moon-pale in the simulated sunlight.
The top assassin brings a support, but I coordinate with myself.
In this game's setting, each person can bind only one account. The protagonist is testing whether the game can support two accounts at once for the game company when his boss removes his exit button. Then he realizes that his two accounts work together perfectly, so he happily slaughters everyone in sight (?).
PS: This story was dreamed up by an author who wasn't quite right in the head. It's set in a holographic game world and features all sorts of bizarre things, including but not limited to:
1. A beefy male healer with the skill [Here, Take My Love], who has to make a finger-heart gesture to heal people
2. A rich guy whose basic attack is throwing money and whose skill [Raising the Price on the Spot] lets him slowly recover the gold he's lost in battle by sitting down
3. A support with the skill [Elevator Destroyer], who presses every button in the elevator, slowing everyone's movement speed
4. [On Time Delivery] is a passive skill: its owner's movement speed increases the closer they get to an enemy
5. [The Power of Knowledge] lets its user throw a heavy schoolbag that deals massive AOE physical damage
In short, the author's not quite right in the head, so this story won't be too profound. It's just a silly stress-reliever (blush).
Theme: Be self-reliant and keep working hard at life.
