[Haikyuu!!] After Failing to Confess to My Childhood Friend

"From now on, I want to play volleyball with you, too."

After successfully confessing to his childhood friend, he plans to keep playing volleyball together at the same high school and become the world's best duo.

Shinmon Kei's happy daydreams shatter the moment he opens the doors to Shiratorizawa's volleyball gym. His childhood friend didn't get in!

And so, his eagerly anticipated confession turns into a full-scale provocation. He never expected his once-adorably clueless childhood friend to turn into an idiot who only ever says "boke."

"Kei really is my best rival, but I'm going to become the best setter! Karasuno will beat Shiratorizawa, too! We'll make it to the national tournament!"

Watching the Shiratorizawa volleyball regulars gather around him as his childhood friend walks away with firm steps, Shinmon Kei feels like his high school career might as well end right here.

I love Shiratorizawa, so I wrote this. (I love them all, so I'll write about other schools later, too.)

OOC warning, major canon changes, overpowered characters, not enough fiery passion (all more or less), and a mountain of headcanons.

There will be occasional cameos from characters in other sports anime, but not many.

The pairing is Boke-chan.
